One of the initial reasons I wrote the Codicon and Game Drive was so I could discuss rock art without needing to re-explain my basic ideas. While working on these manuscripts over the next 10 years, I lost the focus of writing expository articles. It’s only lately, now that I’m done writing the Codicon and Game Drive, that I remembered my early purpose and I’m excited to get back to work.
My first blog post is about the Basketmaker people, their art, and the low ranking in the amount of attention attention and energy they have received from academic archeology.
